The compensation, in the form of insurance pay-out, was paid under the Pradhan Mantri Garib Kalyan Package.
A total of 390 patients, including 255 from Ahmedabad and 88 from Surat, were discharged from hospitals in the day, taking the number of recovered cases to 15,891, an official release said.
As many as 392 people recovered and were given discharge from different hospitals in the state, taking the total to 15,501.

At the same time, 370 patients recovered, raising the number of discharged patients to 14,743
"The patient was admitted to the facility on June 3 and escaped on Tuesday evening. A doctor from the centre lodged an FIR against him last night," the official said.
The state also reported recovery of 409 more patients, taking the number of discharged people to 14,373
The state has tested 2,56,289 samples so far, while 2,10,438 persons have been quarantined, including 2,03,626 who are under home isolation, the department said.
A total of 319 COVID-19 patients were discharged from hospitals on Sunday, taking the number of recovered persons to 13,643, the department said.

During the same period, 29 patients succumbed to the infection, taking the death toll in the state to 802, said Principal Secretary, Health, Jayanti Ravi.
A total of 239 patients were discharged from hospitals, taking the total number of the recovered patients to 5,043, the official said, adding that the state has 6,379 active cases.
Chief Minister Vijay Rupani had said on Monday that there will be no relaxation of restrictions in containment zones in the fourth phase of lockdown.
As many as 191 coronavirus patients were discharged from hospital Sunday, taking the number of recovered patients in the state to 4,499, Principal Secretary (Health), Jayanti Ravi said.
He said a meeting of all district officials will be held for notifying containment zones and the fourth phase of the lockdown will be implemented from Tuesday.
The number of patients who died in 24 hours since Friday evening -- 23 -- was the lowest in the last seven days, Principal Secretary (Health) Jayanti Ravi said.
