The AMU authorities have denied the allegations of termination as "highly speculative" and said the two doctors were engaged "on a temporary one-month vacancy from September 9".
A senior STF official said that the team probing the conspiracy angle will soon visit the scene of the crime to investigate and collect facts.

DIG Shalabh Mathur, who has been sent to Hathras from Lucknow as a nodal officer, told PTI that if needed a control room will also be established there.
“If the petitioners have any grievance, they are at liberty to file appropriate petition/application before the apex court,” the court added.
The 19-year-old Dalit woman from Uttar Pradesh's Hathras had died at Delhi's Safdarjung hospital on September 29.
