Vinayak Shinde, an accused in the Mansukh Hiran murder case, was dismissed from the service on Monday under special powers.

The arrested Assistant Police Inspector Sachin Waze, whose name came up in Mansukh Hiran's death case allegedly used a fake Aadhar card while booking a room in a 5-star hotel in Mumbai.
Earlier in the day, the ATS said it has seized a high-end car from Daman in connection with the Mansukh Hiran murder case.
According to the ATS, Mumbai police officer Sachin Waze, now suspended and in custody of the NIA, had played a key role and emerged as the prime accused in the Hiran murder case.
