nion Minister of Electronics and Information Technology Ravi Shankar Prasad said that PLI scheme for telecom products will be implemented from April 1.
The government, he added, is also working on various other measures to reduce the compliance burden and notify the recently announced PLI scheme by April next year.
It, however, noted that some of the operational risks present in the country would still remain a challenge for many investors despite the incentive.
