Though details of the test are yet to be known, reports of alleged mismatch of statements of the DFO and cook have surfaced.
On Friday, a viral video of the DFO with doctors at the district headquarters hospital (DHH) in presence of Paralakhemundi tehsildar went viral on social media and put the scanner back on him.
Though the date of footage is yet to be ascertained, it is believed that the video was shot when the dying statement of ACF Soumya was being recorded at the hospital.
Assistant Conservator of Forest (ACF) Soumya Ranjan Mohapatra had allegedly poured kerosene and set himself ablaze in his quarters on July 12.
The autopsy report, which was sent to Paralakhemundi police on Monday, stated that Soumya died due to 95 per cent burn injuries which have been described as ante mortem in nature.
DIG Southern Range Satya Brata Bhoi said, the ACF’s postmortem report from SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack and the forensic team’s report soon is expected.
A day after giving a ‘clean chit’ to the divisional forest officer, Gajapati SP Tapan Patnaik made a U-turn and said on Saturday that investigation into the case is underway from all angles.
