According to a police officer who refused to be named, seized liquor bottles are taken to an isolated place and crushed under the wheels of a road roller.

The SC Collegium headed by CJI NV Ramana approved the proposal for the elevation of an advocate as a Judge in the Patna HC.
The bench observed that it was also concerned why so many bail applications were being filed before the high court in the first place.
According to the prosecution, the incident had happened in February 1983 when a scuffle took place over the issue of grazing of crops.
