A communication in this regard was given to chief electoral officer and assembly secretary by the Election Commission.
Earlier in the day, the High Court directed the Election Commission to take immediate steps to complete the elections process to the three Rajya Sabha seats from Kerala.
According to the EC, the fixing of the schedule of the election is exclusively within the domain of the commission.
