A Mumbai Special NDPS Court granted bail to Showik Chakraborty three months after he was arrested in a narcotics case.
Chakraborty claimed innocence submitting that he has been falsely implicated in the case even though no drugs were seized from his possession.
Meanwhile, the court rejected the bail plea of her brother Showik Chakraborty.
The duo was arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in connection with a drugs probe related to actor Sushant Singh Rajput's death case last month.
The NCB further said both Rhea Chakraborty and her brother had 'abetted and financed' drug transactions.
The two, alongwith prime accused Rhea Chakraborty and others, are currently in judicial custody.
The official said that he will be produced before a court later in the day. This is the 15th arrest in the case so far by the NCB.
A special court in Mumbai reserved its order on the bail plea of the 28-year-old actor and her brother Showik Chakraborty. The order will be pronounced on Friday.
The chief metropolitan magistrate court sent the 28-year-old actor to 14 days of judicial custody.

Rhea, in interviews given to multiple TV news channels, has said that she has never consumed drugs herself.
Sawant has been arrested by NCB for his role in procuring and handling of drugs, based on statements and digital evidence, Deputy Director, Narcotics Control Bureau confirmed.
While Showik is a brother of Rhea Chakraborty, who is the main accused in the case, Miranda was Rajput's house manager.
The duo- Zaid Vilatra and Abdel Basit Parihar- arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB), are currently in its custody.
They were arrested on Friday night under various sections of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act after questioning of 10 hours.
Besides Showik and Miranda, the NCB has already arrested Zaid Vilatra (21) and Abdel Basit Parihar (23).
