G Kishan Reddy said as informed by the National Crime Records Bureau, many states and UTs have reported "nil" data on suicides by farmers.
The number of suicides involving farmers and farmhands in Andhra Pradesh increased to 1,029 last year from 664 in 2018.
He said the manch opposed the English medium of teaching introduced by the State government.
In March alone, 66 farmers have committed suicide in the Marathwada region, which is the most parched and backward region of the state.
Sinha has been agitating for farmers' rights and was recently detained in Akola, Maharashtra while leading a protest for the acceptance of demands of the farmers in Vidarbha.
