Police have developed a novel programme to honour “Good Samaritans” who rushed to the scene of a road accident during “Golden Hour”, the first hour following trauma & render heroic aid to the victims.
The Good Samaritan Policy was introduced in the State to recognise and encourage people to save and assist accident victims during the first hour of road mishaps termed as ‘Golden Hour’.
Residents of the village appreciated Ezhilarasi for her bravery and she also received a couple of awards before the State honour.
