Delhi Air Pollution: Schools Shut for a week, WFH for govt offices, discussion on lockdown underway

The air quality level in Delhi plunged to near emergency levels on November 13th.The air quality index (AQI) in Delhi was 471, the worst this season so far Taking the emergency situation into account Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal on Saturday called an emergency meeting to tackle severe air pollution in the city. After the emergency meeting, it was decided that Schools in New Delhi will be closed for a week and construction sites for four days. The government has also decided to instruct government offices to operate from home at 100% capacity for a week.
