Kerala rains: Death toll in flash floods and landslides rises to 20, rescue operations on

20 people have been killed in Kerala since last night, as a result of heavy rains that triggered landslides in the districts of Idukki and Kottayam. 12 have been found dead in Kottayam, and 6 in Idukki. At least 13 people have been reported missing, including five children. Meanwhile, the Centre will provide all possible assistance to the people of Kerala who have been affected by heavy rains and resulting floods.
