"Rupee not declining, but dollar...": Nirmala Sitharaman's comment on rupee decline

Finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman commented on the performance of the rupee during a press conference in Washington DC. Sitharaman said that she would not look at it as the "rupee sliding, but dollar strengthening." She also noted that RBI is doing its best to contain the fall of rupee.
