Manipur landslide: Death toll rises to 14, over 50 still feared trapped under the debris

The death toll in the landslide that occurred in Noney district of Manipur on June 30 went up to *14 with the recovery of 2 more bodies on July 1. The bodies recovered are confirmed to be of the missing personnel of the 107 Territorial Army (TA) stationed at the landslide hit camp. With this, the total number of TA casualties claimed by the landslide stands at 9. At least 55 others, including several jawans, are still missing - feared buried near the Ijai river.
