Indian Army honoured in Turkey, locals thank India for assistance after earthquake

The final NDRF team under 'Operation Dost' returned from Turkey on Feb 19th. Three teams of 151 NDRF personnel and dog squads extended assistance to the earthquake-affected Turkey. Officers from the Indian Army were applauded as they left Turkey. Locals in Turkey praised the Indian Army's selfless service. India has been at the forefront of providing rescue assistance to earthquake-hit Turkey. India launched 'Operation Dost' aimed at assisting in the relief and rescue operations. Teams from the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) and Indian Army worked round the clock in the quake-hit nation.
