ED officers assaulted by TMC leader’s supporters in West Bengal

On January 5, Enforcement Directorate officers were assaulted and their vehicles damaged when they tried to raid the residence of TMC (Trinamool Congress) leader Sheikh Sajahan in North 24 Parganas district, West Bengal. The raid was conducted in connection with an investigation into the ration distribution scam.
