Medha Patkar arrested in 24-year-old defamation case by Delhi LG V K Saxena, Court orders release

The Delhi police arrested prominent social activist Medha Patkar in a 24-year-old defamation case on April 25. However, the Saket Court ordered Patkar's release after issuing a non-bailable warrant against her over submission of the probation bond and a fine of Rs. 1 Lakh.
