NASA’s mightiest moon rocket lifts off 50 years after Apollo

In its third attempt, NASA launched the most powerful moon rocket with three test dummies aboard. NASA finally gets it right and the Artemis 1 mission's SLS rocket lifted off successfully from Launch Pad 39B. The liftoff marked the start of NASA’s Artemis lunar-exploration program, named after Apollo’s mythological twin sister.
