NASA’s DART mission hits asteroid in 1st-ever planetary defense test

After 10 months of flying in space, NASA’s Double Asteroid Redirection Test also known as #DART – the world’s first planetary defense technology demonstration – successfully impacted its asteroid target on September 26.
