Eight killed in Karachi violence

Unidentified men killed eight people in differentparts of Pakistan's port city of Karachi on the New Year eve, Geo Newsreported.

The gunmen killed three people in Orangi Town, Korangi andPunjab Chowrangi respectively, said sources Monday.

Earlier, killing of a political activist in the city'sBizerta Lines area late Sunday night sparked violence in the locality.

Moreover, unidentified men opened fire on arickshaw in New Karachi town that killed a man and three women inside it.
