Pakistan's Anti-narcotics Force Seizes Drugs Worth 2.6 Billion Rupees

KARACHI: Pakistan's Anti-Narcotics Force today seized 11 tonnes of drugs worth 2.6 billion rupees in the southwestern Balochistan province and the southern port city of Karachi, in the biggest haul in the force's history.         

In separate raids, the ANF seized 10.6 tonnes of Hashish, 517 kilogrammes of Morphine and 55 kilogrammes of Marijuana.            

"The narcotics with a net market worth of 2.6 billion rupees were seized from buses in Karachi and Chagi and Killa Abdullah in Balochistan," a spokesperson for the ANF said.       

He said three persons had also been arrested during the seizures. "It is the biggest haul in ANF history," he added.
