Woman in Ireland train hurls racist abuse at co-passengers, asks to 'go back to India'

DUBLIN: A woman on a train in Ireland as caught on camera hurling 'racist' abuse at fellow Asian train passengers - telling one of them to go back to India" - in a row over a bag placed on a vacant seat.

In a 16-minute long rant, the woman is seen shouting at the group, while using expletive-ridden language.

A video of the incident on a Limerick Irish Rail train was uploaded on YouTube and described as "shocking and disgraceful" by the rail operator.

The incident appeared to begin when a woman objected to a fellow passenger placing their bag on an empty seat.

Twitter user @TheBexWay posted the video to Irish Rail.

The video footage has been reported to the local Gardai.

The Ireland Police are investigating the matter.
