Putin, Trump favour 'coordination' against terrorism: Kremlin

The statement also said they had agreed to "increase dialogue" between fellow diplomats to find a solution to the war in Syria.

MOSCOW:  Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump reiterated in a telephone call Tuesday that they would pursue  "coordination of actions" to fight terrorism.

"The emphasis was put on the potential for coordination of actions by the United States and Russia in the fight against terrorism," the Kremlin said in a statement after the two leaders' discussion.

The statement also said they had agreed to "increase dialogue" between fellow diplomats to find a solution to the war in Syria.
