Pakistan helicopter violates norm, comes 300 metres near LoC

POONCH: A Pakistan helicopter on Wednesday came 300 metres close to the Line of Control (LoC) at Gulpur sector of Poonch district in Jammu and Kashmir, in violation of norms that there will be no such flight within one kilometre.

Sources in the Indian Army confirmed that the incident took place around 9:45 am and it was flying in the general area, Pallandri in Pakistan occupied Kashmir (PoK).

According to the existing norms between the two countries, a fighter aircraft can come 10 kilometres close to the LoC, whereas, for helicopters, the limit is set at one kilometre.
