Winter poppy seed milk

● Khus khus (Poppy seeds): 2 tbsp
● Almonds crushed: 1 tbps
● Milk: 250 ml
● Sugar: As per taste
● Desi ghee: 1 tbsp
● Saffron: A few strands

● Heat oil in a pan
● Add poppy seeds and let them splutter till light brown
● Add dry almonds and saute them
● Add milk and sugar
● Stir continuously for about 10 minutes till the milk gets creamier
● Sprinkle saffron
● Remove from heat and serve hot.
