Home remedies and doctor’s prescription provided only temporary relief and proved to be of no use. And then I came across The Body Shop’s Tea Tree Oil. It’s anti-bacterial properties have helped in reducing the breakouts. Apart from treating the acne and the blemishes caused by them, it has worked wonders for the hereditary brown spots.
I liked the product so much that I made my mom use one too. I apply two drops of oil with aloe vera gel. Results are better if used at night. However, it dries out the skin, so I prefer using it on alternate days. The oil has a strong scent and gives a tingling sensation when applied. Drinking lots of water doubles the impact of the oil as it keeps the body hydrated.
