CRDA extends deadline for completion of houses for legislators, government officials till mid-August
On the occasion, the Chief Minister directed the officials to ensure the completion of housing projects before the new Assembly convenes.
The official further explained that the reservoirs, of capacity 0.1 tmc and 0.43 tmc, would be mostly used as balancing facilities.
According to the organisers, the proceedings of the programme will be donated to My Brick- My Amaravati initiative launched by the APCRDA a few years ago.
For the record, the CITIIS programme was a funding announced by the Centre last year.
The APCRDA also launched a new initiative called Happy Cities Forum to take forward the deliberations held at the summit.
It may be noted that the APCRDA is in the process of borrowing Rs 10,000 crore from various banks as loans for infrastructure development in Amaravati.
The authority also formally approved Amaravati Government Complex (AGC) master plan, submitted by the Foster + Partners.
The exercise of determining face value, interest and other details will be finalised shortly.
While land monetisation, for which the authority reserved 5,000 acres, will be used to generate most of the income, the leasing of utilities will be the other sources.
The Andhra Pradesh Capital Region Development Authority (APCRDA) has initiated the process of development of an Information Technology (IT) park in the capital region.
The authority had also faced criticism in August for issuing bonds worth Rs 2,000 crore at 10.32 per cent interest to be paid quarterly for a period of 10 years.
In the sessions, the authority will explain the project features and the process of booking to potential buyers.
He said that the capital will adopt 100 per cent green building concepts in its making.
The official added that the exercise to finalise the plan would begin after the authority is done with the sale of the remaining HappyNest flats announced for the public.
