Fuel prices continued its upward march on Monday, with diesel prices surging by 8-9 paise in four metropolitan cities.
In Mumbai, petrol is retailing at Rs 87.73 per litre and diesel at Rs 77.68 per litre after revisions of 23 paise and 31 paise, respectively.

Transport unions’ strike led by All-India Motor Transport Congress continued for the third day. The strike is over several demands including cut in diesel prices and highway tolls.
