Director R K Vencent Selva earlier surprised the audience with his fresh and serious plots in Vijay-starrer Priyamudan, actor Murali’s Iraniyan and in Ramesh’s Jithan.

The director now seems to have infused the right dose of humour in his next, Thulli Vilayadu, which is ready for release. “The storyline is serious, but the narrative is humorous. The story has many interesting twists and every character will have a mystery element,” says Selva.

According to the director, the movie revolves around three youngsters — Yuvaraj (debutant), Soori and Senrayan, two villains — Prakashraj, Jayaprakash and a girl (Deepti). “What these youngsters do to earn quick fame in their respective fields, why Jayaprakash and Prakashraj run after them and why Deepti is after Yuvaraj are a few of the puzzles to be solved during the climax,” he says.

Selva says that the audience will see a different Prakashraj in this movie, right from his costumes. The crew has completed shooting in just 42 days. The movie has four songs and all of them have been scored by Srikanth Deva. RK Productions has produced the movie.
