Renowned playback singer Kailash Kher, has recorded a song for Pawan Kalyan-starrer Gopala Gopala. “We sing many songs, but songs like these come rarely. They enrich us intellectually and satisfy one’s soul,” said Kher. This is not the first time Kailash has lent his voice for a Telugu film. Previously, he has sung various songs like Pandaga la digi vachavu (Mirchi) for which he won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer. He has also crooned for films like Arundhati, Parugu, Gaalipatam. According to sources, Pawan Kalyan liked Kailash’s original song in Oh My God, following which the makers approached Kailash to sing a song in the remake Gopala Gopala as well.
“Recently, the song was picturised on Pawan Kalyan. Although there were no big dance moves, Pawan only does a jig, while most of the song focuses on his expressions,” adds the source. While the music composed by Anup Rubens will be unveiled on December 28, the movie is set for Sankranti release. The film is expected to get competition from Shankar’s I, also slated for a Sankranti release.
