Ingredients

  •  Apples cored and chopped: 4
  •  Lemon zest: 1
  •  Brown sugar: 2 tbsp
  •  Melted butter: 1 tbsp
  •  Cinnamon sticks: 1/2 inch (4 )

For crumble

  •  Flour: 1 cup
  •  Powdered sugar: 1/2 cup
  •  Butter: 1/2 cup

Method

  •  In a pan, mix chopped apples with all the ingredients other than the crumble
  •  In another pan, mix flour, melted butter and sugar to make the crumble. Place over the apples.
  •  Bake for 30 minutes
  •  Serve hot with fresh cream
