Holistic approach to diabetes

The growing number of diabetics in India is alarming and calls for an urgent and continued need for awareness on preventive measures and on how to handle the condition once diagnosed.

Diabetes is a metabolic disease in which a person has high blood sugar, either because the pancreas do not produce enough insulin, or because cells do not respond to the insulin that is produced. There are two kinds of Diabetes - Type 1 and Type 2. Type 1 sets in in childhood and Type 2 sets in later in adulthood.

There are various reasons for the cause of Diabetes - obesity, sedentary lifestyle, genetic factors being among them. Despite various measures taken to build awareness about diabetes, it is showing similar trends like other genetic conditions, neurological illnesses and degenerative conditions, which are also increasing in incidence year by year. Diabetes is one of the leading non-communicable diseases which are called silent killers.

Diabetes leads to various other serious secondary conditions, such as cardiovascular conditions, organ issues such as kidney damage, eye and skin conditions, stroke and coma, fertility issues which drastically hamper the quality of life or sometimes leave a life-threatening impact on the body.

Aashwasan Services based on Aashwasan Science, the science of human mechanism, brought forth by its founder Rashmi Aiyappa, helps people cope with diabetes.

Speaking to City Express, Aiyappa says, “This Science stands as hope because it addresses the root cause which lies within our life’s experiences and choices such as our lifestyle, food habits and unresolved issues of life which, in the form of stress, break down the metabolism and innate resilience of our body.”

Diabetes caused by genetic and hereditary factors has root cause much beyond any external therapy or intervention. Deep rooted faulty mechanism can be addressed in helping diabetics. Such an approach is  natural, holistic and non-intrusive. Thus there are no side-effects at any level. In fact, issues which get overlooked due to diabetes are brought out to be addressed.

It empowers the body to fall back on its own self-healing abilities so that it can cope with the changing situations of life and reverse or cope with the condition depending on its potential. The body’s own mechanism is restored to its original format. This not only helps the person suffering from diabetes, but also prevents it from being passed on to the next generation.
