But new research presented at the 50th Annual Meeting of the American Society for Clinical Oncology suggests patients in late stages of cancer may extend their lives by discontinuing its use.

Weight Loss Aided by Eating Prunes

Research by the University of Liverpool has found that eating prunes as part of a weight control diet can improve weight loss. They found that members of the group which ate prunes as part of a healthy life-style diet lost 2kg. However, the people in the group which was given advice on healthy snacks lost only 1.5kg.
