Based on C N Chinnaiah's complaint, police registered the Dharmasthala case last July, after which the state formed an SIT under DGP Pronab Mohanty to probe it.
According to him, the institution has set a national example through its contributions in social service, education, healthcare and mass-feeding programmes.
The Principal District and Sessions Court granted bail in connection with the Dharmasthala mass burial case, ordering his release on the execution of a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh with two sureties.
An officer associated with the investigation, on the condition of anonymity, stated that the court may approach another court or take this report as a chargesheet and initiate action.
They had questioned the registration of the FIR, which was registered in Belthangady and transferred to the SIT later, and also the notices issued to them by the SIT.
