The economic impact of the crisis has begun to bite around the world, with governments looking to cut energy consumption and airlines scaling back flights.
Emirates, in a statement, said it is currently operating a reduced flight schedule until further notice following the partial reopening of regional airspace for the safe conduct of commercial flights.
This came as the West Asia conflict pummelled global markets and all other asset classes but set crude oil on fire having rallied more than 13% since Saturday.
