The JJD chief was remanded to 14 days in Beur Central Jail after his arrest during the bandh, while his lawyer said a bail plea would be filed on Monday.
In a complaint filed at the Sachivalaya police station, Tej Pratap Yadav alleged that his former aide, Akash Yadav and his family have hatched a conspiracy to kill him and his unwell father.
Faced with queries about his party's possible entry into BJP-led NDA coalition, Tej Pratap Yadav said, "... you will get to know about it in due course."
