The BJP leader also accused the state government of failing to cooperate in implementing central schemes, including a housing programme for three lakh beneficiaries.
He asserted that Tamil Nadu would continue to follow its long-standing two-language policy of Tamil and English, rejecting any attempt to impose Hindi through the National Education Policy (NEP).
Accusing the AIADMK of attempting to help the BJP gain a foothold in the state, he said the ensuing election was a contest between Tamil Nadu, which is the soil of self-respect, and the Delhi team.
