The MoS was responding to a question on whether the Centre has upgraded the license for Patanjali Ayurved's Coronil from an "immunity booster" to a "supporting measure" in treating COVID.
He supported ayurveda and Yoga saying that these two are effective in 'lifestyle', 'genetic' and 'incurable' diseases and health problems.
Yoga Guru Ramdev had introduced Ayurveda-based Coronil tablets on June 23 last year, when the COVID-19 pandemic was at its peak in India.
The Covid kit is provided by the health department to people diagnosed with mild or no symptoms in home isolation.
The high court orally asked the counsel for Ramdev to tell him not to make any provocative statement till the next date of hearing on July 13 and respond to the suit.
