Agnipath: 500 trains cancelled, security beefed up in several states over Bharat Bandh

In view of the Bharatbandh call by some organisations as a protest against the Agnipath scheme, security has been beefed up in several states. Tight security forces are deployed in Bihar, Vijayawada, West Bengal's Howrah and Punjab to tackle any crisis that may arise. Parts of Delhi witnessed traffic jams as several roads were blocked ahead of the Congress' protest against the Agnipath and ongoing Rahul Gandhi's ED grilling.

‘Chalo Vijayawada’: Thousands of AP govt employees take out protest demanding rollback of new PRC

A large number of govt employees under the aegis of the PRC Struggle Committee took out a massive protest rally on Feb 3 in #Vijayawada. The rally 'Chalo Vijayawada' was organized in protest against the new Pay Revision Commission (PRC), despite the restrictions imposed by the State Govt. Rising 'We Want Justice' slogans, employees took out the protest rally and staged a protest on BRTS Road.
