Three policemen killed in Pakistan blast

At least three policemen were killed and four others injured on Thursday in a blast in Pakistan's Quetta city, authorities said.

ISLAMABAD: At least three policemen were killed and four others injured on Thursday in a blast in Pakistan's Quetta city, authorities said.

The explosion targeted Additional Inspector General Hameed Shakeel, who had left his residence in a vehicle shortly earlier, the Dawn news reported.

According to police, the bomb was planted on the roadside and was detonated by remote control.
