On May 15, 2026, the Indore Bench of the Madhya Pradesh High Court held that the disputed complex was a Hindu temple, following which Friday namaz at the complex came to an end.
SC tells Madhya Pradesh govt to make suitable arrangements for Friday prayers and observed that the state and the Muslim side could also identify another site through mutual consent.
The Bench directed SG Mehta to obtain instructions from the state government on the possibility of providing an alternate prayer site adjacent to the disputed complex.
On May 15, the Madhya Pradesh High Court ruled that the disputed Bhojshala-Kamal Maula Mosque complex in Dhar district is a temple dedicated to Goddess Saraswati.
