Vijayan downplayed the development and said that the ED had searched his rented accommodation, and there was no issue if the agency wanted to examine his daughter's bank locker.
Sources said the agency was not satisfied with the clarity of some of the responses provided at that time, following which she was summoned to appear before the Kochi office.
The ED said the searches in Kerala and Bengaluru in connection with the Cochin Minerals and Rutile Limited were part of a probe under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.
