Officials conducted a thorough inspection of the aircraft and checked the passengers’ luggage. Authorities confirmed that there were no explosives on board and declared the threat a hoax.
Airport authorities said the flight was carrying 180 passengers, all of whom were safely evacuated upon landing. No explosive material was found during the search.
During preliminary inspection, security personnel recovered a handwritten note on a tissue paper with the words “Plane mein bomb” (bomb in the plane), police said.
