Flight services were cancelled at Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Cochin, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Amritsar, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Dehradun, Indore, Patna and Bhopal, among others, as per the IndiGo website.
On Wednesday, IndiGo cancelled 220 flights from across three key airports -- Delhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai, with Delhi seeing the most cancellations at 137.
The directive requires the CEO and key departmental heads to present comprehensive data on flight restoration efforts, pilot and cabin crew availability, recruitment plans, cancellations, and refunds.
Elbers said that the company is now turning inward to assess what went wrong — aiming to learn from mistakes and improve internal systems to avoid a recurrence.
