Siddique Kappan is a Delhi-based Malayali journalist, who was arrested under UAPA (Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act) and has been in jail since October 2020 in connection with the Hathras conspiracy case.

Two Afghan journalists beaten by Taliban for covering women's protests

Two Afghan journalists were beaten for covering the protests led by women. The two journalists who work with a newspaper called Etilaatroz were reportedly abducted and then beaten up in police custody allegedly by the Taliban.
