The judge noted that a significant portion of the prosecution’s case rested on CCTV footage allegedly collected from PWD, which reported no signs of tampering.
"The assertion on behalf of the accused that after their arrest, they had been falsely implicated in this case in order to solve this case cannot be completely brushed aside," the judge observed.
Singhvi submitted that charges against Fatima are yet to be framed and she cannot be subjected to "endless custody" particularly when 939 witnesses have been cited.
