Ajithkumar was brutally assaulted by the police when he was interrogated for the theft of nine sovereigns of gold jewellery of Nikitha, who had visited the temple in June 2025.
B Ajithkumar, a temple guard of Madapuram Badrakali Amman temple in Sivaganga, was allegedly tortured to death by a special police team during interrogation in a theft case in June 2025.
This came to light when the CBI filed supplementary charge sheet in the case before the V Additional District Judge of Madurai, R Joseph Joy, on Friday.
