The allegations relate to the unlawful alienation of Bhoodan land in favour of EIPL Constructions, allegedly with the involvement of revenue officials.
A bench of Justice Moushumi Bhattacharya and Justice Gadi Praveen Kumar suspended the October 17, 2025, order and ruled that the material on record established that the lands were patta lands.
The lands, measuring about 51 acres, were originally classified as Bhoodan lands but were allegedly de-notified and later transferred to private individuals.
The probe was initiated on the basis of an FIR registered on January 13, 2023, at the Maheshwaram police station against private individuals and government officials.
