The JPSC-JSSC Reforms Manch had called a protest to burn effigies of Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi in all 24 districts of Jharkhand on August 21.

The Nyay Manch asserted that accountability must be fixed regarding the decisions made by the JSSC-CGL and the alleged irregularities in the recruitment process.

Rahul Gandhi also vowed to change the system across the country to establish a framework that propels students forward rather than holds them back.

This is the first time since the agitation began that the protesting students have raised the demand for the CM’s resignation.

As the protest entered its 23rd day, Paswan said the students had lost patience with the government and were preparing for a decisive battle over their demands.
