Raising concerns over frequent arrests of state fishermen by the Sri Lankan Navy, the CM said 12 incidents were reported this year, with 58 fishermen jailed and 266 boats seized.
The Tamil Nadu government also sought intervention from the Central Water Commission (CWC), urging it not to process Karnataka's Detailed Project Report (DPR).
